Outcomes:
This lively, informative course is a must for every Hospice Volunteer Coordinator. The basics of your job will be covered from meeting the regulations/standards to handling personnel issues.  You will gain valuable insight on how to recruit, train, and manage volunteers, as well as how to establish risk management policies. This course lays the foundation for you to excel as a Volunteer Coordinator in Hospice and is perfect for the Coordinator who is new to the job/field, or for those seeking to improve skills.

The cost for this seminar is $150.00 for Members and $175.00 for Non-members.
Late fee of $25 after August 4th, 2017 and 35 seat limit.
There are no refunds, however substitutions are welcome.
This seminar provides 5 Social Worker CE hours.  This seminar provides 5  Nurses CE hours.

Missouri Hospice & Palliative Care Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.  

Missouri Hospice & Palliative Care Association, #1359, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Missouri Hospice & Palliative Care Association maintains responsibility for the program.  ASWB Approval Period: 2/28/17 – 2/28/20. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education  credits.  Social workers participating in this course will receive __5__ continuing education clock hours.
