Mary has 25 years as a Family Physician. She is a former Medical Director of a hospice and a current Medical Director of Chronic Pain Management program in St. Louis, MO. She also is current Chief Medical Officer of VNAGSL during which she makes frequent educational presentations about hospice, chronic pain management, advanced planning, and dementia.

Refunds are not accepted but substitutions are welcome.

This program is eligible for 1.5 MO Nursing Contact Hours. Participants from Missouri interested in credit hours should indicate on the sign in sheet from each hospice their desire to receive credit hours.  There will be an additional $10.00 per person for contact hours.  Please make checks payable to MHPCA with a copy of your sign in sheet to receive credit for participants.  All participants wanting credit must sign the sheet and fill out an evaluation.

Missouri Hospice and Palliative Care Association, #1359, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Missouri Hospice and Palliative Care Association maintains responsibility for the program.  ASWB Approval Period: 2/28/2016 – 2/28/2017.   Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.

Social workers participating in this course will receive _1.5__ continuing education clock hours.
Social workers requesting Social Worker CEU’s must take a post test and return it to MHPCA after the training before a certificate can be issued.
