Objectives:
Bereavement 101 is designed to explore various aspects of loss, grief, bereavement and mourning. The training will describe the differences between the different types of grief. Also, the training will include physical, emotional, behavioral/cognitive, social and spiritual symptoms of grief. The training will also assist in identifying strategies to help people who are grieving, as the training reviews the components to a comprehensive assessment, various models of grief, and necessary skills for working with bereavement clients. Finally, a general overview of guidelines and services that are typically offered will be discussed, highlighting valuable resources that can assist in providing a successful bereavement program.

Non-members: $100
A late fee of $25.00 will apply after April 23th, 2016.
